Certified AV Gloves w/ Dorsal Protection: max impact/vibe protection, plus tough dorsal guard.Impact and vibration aren’t just an annoyances–they can cause permanent physical damage. Inside these gloves is Ergodyne’s exclusive, patent-pending Nu2O2: the most advanced vibration-damping formula available. This super-thin polymer absorbs damaging vibration to help reduce the risk of hand-arm vibration syndrome while maximizing comfort and dexterity. The palms and fingers are made of pigskin, so your hands stay cool, comfortable and protected. PVC shields the back of your hand as well. Extra venting combines with breathable, padded stretch Spandex for superior comfort and flexibility. Kudos to Ergodyne for exceeding the EN ISO 10819 Mechanical Vibration and Shock standard. And while these are intended for the worksite and home do-it-yourselfer, we can’t help but notice that they’d make excellent biker gloves as well.–Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Good News / Bad News The good news is the Vibration Reduction and Dorsal Protection (what is a dorsal anyway?) work as advertised. The bad news is the pads are so thick it makes griping any power tool I’ve ever used problematic – so you end up making a trade off – less vibration but your hands have to exert additional pressure because your grip gets more awkward.

Five Stars – But these gloves are not for everyone Ok. Here we go… First of all these gloves are great but ONLY if you have big hands, i.e. you have a 9″+ hand perimeter. The padding is extremely comfortable and it outperforms my previous Valeo ISO air-cell gloves in terms of comfort and ergonomics. A very Thick Glove I bought these to use for ATV riding and I don’t think that is going to fly because they are to thick to really grip the bike with. I will use them for other things around the house and have already invested in a little lighter pair of gloves for riding.
